Technology SIG
About this event
The Technology Special Interest Group (Tech SIG) focuses on the “nuts and bolts” of implementing and optimizing tools and technology for your speaking business. Complimenting the Sales SIG, which often spotlights the “what” and “why”, the Tech SIG spotlights the “how”. Meetings highlight a single topic with a guest presenter, then offer a short “members helping members” open question & answer session.
The Tech SIG meets virtually on the 1st Wednesday of each month 4-5pm PST. This month...
GAME ON:
How to design and deliver game shows with PowerPoint during your speech
Game shows are a powerful way to prepare audiences for a speech topic you’re about to cover or to lock in content you’ve already covered. That is . . . unless the games are complicated, hokey, no-fun, too easy, too long, or boring. (Yikes!) In this NSA NW August Tech SIG session, you’ll discover exactly how NOT to do that.
Applications:
• Use a variety of concepts and rules to make games that are instantly playable
• Leverage bold graphics and embedded audio to create a game show look and feel
• Incorporate fast pacing and purposely quirky question and answer copy to deliver a truly audience-pleasing experience.
