SPEAKER’S BIO:
Sheryl Roush, generously shares over four decades of experience in marketing, photography, printing, publishing and graphic design. She has owned five graphic design studios and received national and international design awards. Add to this, she has nearly 40 years as a professional speaker and top-rated international trainer, with over 3,500 presentations delivered on-site in 14 countries, and has been a virtual presenter since 2010.
Both the Los Angeles and San Diego chapters of NSA awarded Sheryl their “Member of the Year,” as well as the “Golden Microphone” Award from the LA Chapter. She served on the San Diego Chapter Board several years, including with Marilyn Sherman, and Bill Bachrach. Sheryl also brought in the idea of Chapter One-Sheet Directories. Passionate one the topic, she is often requested for sessions on speaker marketing and one-sheets for NSA,
CAPS and PSA Chapters around the globe.
A 17-time published author, she received the 2016 “Author of Influence Award” from the State of California Senate and Legislature. Toastmasters may recognize her name, as Sheryl is the youngest woman (and most active female veteran) to earn the Accredited Speaker professional credential (in 150 countries).
For enhancing global communication and leadership, she was honored with the 2009 Presidential Citation, selected from over 260,000 members. Her Heart of a Toastmaster book, earned 2014 “Best Anthology” from the International Book Awards, publishing true
stories by 135 members. Her Solid Gold Newsletter Design book, originally published for Toastmasters, became a marketing course book at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
