Meet Your Moderator and Panelists

Legacy Member Dorothy Wilhelm

Dorothy Wilhelm, the only remaining founding member of NSA Northwest, has been a radio and tv writer and broadcaster for over 30 years. She is the longest-running humor columnist in the Northwest and her columns have run in papers throughout the country for over 25 years. She is currently working on her fourth book and has written extensive online content. Dorothy’s books have been published by both traditional and independent publishers.

Brad Cochrane

Brad is the newest Professional member of NSA Northwest. He has independently published two books using Amazon’s CreateSpace. Brad credits his book writing efforts with helping him to focus his presentations into a coherent body of work that he leverages into expanded business.

Don Crawley, CSP

Don’s 8 independently published books, which include The Compassionate Geek series and The Accidental Administrator series, bring in annual royalties in excess of $40,000. As a result of his books, Don has been asked to give talks all over the world, including Canada, Ireland, Australia, Scotland, Great Britain, India, and the Sultanate of Oman.

Laura Leist, CPO, MOS

Laura has written, co-authored and contributed to 17 books – one for every year she’s been in business. She has worked with a regional publisher, a New York publisher, and several independent publishers. She’s also independently published 11 books in digital and print format. As a direct result of her first published book by Sasquatch, New York Publisher Wiley has approached Laura three times to write for their label. These books enabled Laura to increase her consulting and speaking fees.
